Description

A type of anchor used to secure several components to concrete is referred to as a Wedge anchor. The two independent halves of a wedge anchor are permanently pre-assembled to form a single unit. The first component is a rod made of carbon steel that is threaded along some of its length. The anchor’s installed or opposing end has a conical or necked-down diameter that tapers back to the rod’s full diameter.
